This little beauty has moved in right next to our front door. She in approximately 1.25 inches, from her fangs to her tail. (not including her legs) From our observations, she has eaten 4 would be suiters, and is waiting for just the right mate. (Good luck to any future contestants) She has a wonderful web that is approximately 1 foot in diameter, with anchor points as far away as 3 feet.
She keeps a very tidy web, and has cut down the number of bugs around our porch light dramatically. (As a note: There are far fewer other spider species around there too.)
